JTS' CX500 miniature condenser microphone is ideal for the discreet miking of flutes and piccolos.

It's elegantly designed mounting sytems makes postioning a breeze and and allows the mic to be mounted and removed quickly for breaks, sound checks and performances. 

With a frequency response rising to 20khz the sound is very detailed, capturing all harmonics and overtones, but it also suprisingly warm, with plenty of bass for such a small capsule.

The CX500 is also supplied with JTS' handy MA500 adaptor which means it can be plugged directly into the consoles XLR mic inputs (phantom power is required) or into a wireless system via a 4-pin miniature XLR connector for ultimate flexibility.

The CX500F low price also makes the miking of ensembles possible at reasonable cost.
