For applications requiring the musicality and clarity of a 15" sub woofer system, the LDV215 is hard to beat.

We think 18" sub-bass systems can sometimes be a bit 'slow'. A bit indistinct. Very often when listening to double 18" subs, bass guitars often sound a bit 'one note'. Sure, they go down a long way and you can 'feel' the bass, but can you really hear the notes. Which, after all is what music is all about.

The truth is, most forms of music do not really require systems that go down into sub-bass frequencies. The 'punch' of a bass drum tends to be centred around 80hz, not down at 35. So for most live music and band applications, we still think the clarity and 'speed' of 15" systems is preferable. Strangely, in the race to build bigger and more powerful double 18s, etc, there aren't that many 'double 15s' around.

One such animal, however, is the LD Systems LDV215B. 2 x 600 watt 4" voice coil 15" woofers in a single enclosure, delivering high powered bass reinforcement down to 35hz with a maximum SPL of 131db.

The enclosure is manufactured from multiplex ply with a Duracoat LX coating.

Ideal for concert rooms, venues and larger scale touring companies and bands.

Transport wheels are available as an optonal extra.
